Can I be stopped and arrested for DUI in Florida even if the vehicle was not moving?

Yes, you can. If you’re in actual physical control of a vehicle and you’re under the influence, you can be charged with DUI.

For instance, if a car is stopped or parked and you are in the driver’s seat trying to sleep it off and the keys are in the ignition and the car is otherwise operable, you could be charged with driving under the influence for being in actual physical control of that vehicle.
