The police want me to give them permission to search my house, car, computer, camera, etc. Should I give it to them?

You’re not required to give the police consent to search anything. Typically, the police are required to have a search warrant to search something that they want to find evidence of a crime in. If they had probable cause to obtain a search warrant, they most likely would have already done so. In the absence of your consent to search an item, the police probably are not able to otherwise search it.
