The police want me to talk about a crime they think I committed. Should I comply?
No. If the police want to question you about a crime they think you committed, you should contact an attorney. Keep in mind if the police are wanting to speak to you about a crime they think you committed, it’s so they can develop additional evidence against you. If they had enough evidence without speaking to you about the case, you would likely have already been charged.
By speaking to the police, you are only potentially giving them additional evidence against yourself.
