What happens at the arraignment?

At the arraignment, the defendant will be advised as to what if any charges are being filed in the case, and it’s an opportunity for the defendant to enter a plea to the charges of either guilty or not guilty. After the arraignment, the case will be set on a pre-trial hearing calendar at some point in the future.
